The earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. Click on the example to the left to see the click thought rates on search results. So to get a website listed in these results I will build links, adjust and insert key words on relevant pages to increase keyword densities and adjust the code of the website to see which methods work the best. But before we do any of the above we spend a lot of time doing research first on things like key word and key phrase research and on other websites that are competing for the same results, before touching a web site.
